ABOUT LYNNE KORTENHAUS

From the moment people meet Lynne, they understand why she's so good at what she does. Warm, intelligent, and engaging, Lynne is a collaborator par excellence. Originally trained as a printmaker at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Lynne brings her artistic eye to everything she touches. Clients at the upper echelons of their industries seek out her expertise because they are cut from the same cloth.

Lynne pioneered the concept of helping clients by giving back through strategic partnerships with influential mission-driven organizations. She has worked with dozens of major nonprofits, including MassArt; the ICA, PAAM, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation; the Dana Farber Cancer Institute; as well as the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Lynne is a connector. She's played a key role among the city's cultural, philanthropic, and political leaders, serving on several influential boards, including the Fashion Group International; the Back Bay Association; and the Newbury Street League.

She is a Director Circle member at the Institute of Contemporary Art; former chair of the city's Boston Art Commission (a mayoral

appointment) and Henderson Fund designator. She is a trustee of the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and the Boston Center for the Arts. She is also a trustee emeritus of the Boch Center.

Lynne leverages these invaluable contacts to benefit her clients as well as Boston's venerable institutions. She knows who to call and with whom to partner to engage the right audience. Lynne is also a registered art appraiser and curator. She has helped several large corporate clients showcase, curate, and assess the value of their collections. Lynne continues to practice as a visual artist and is represented by the Schoolhouse Gallery.
